Thank you for your interest in submitting a practice to Public Health Practices. We are currently accepting practice submissions in all nine categories of all-hazards preparedness and response.
Public Health Practices accepts online submissions only. Please take a moment to read through the criteria for submitting a practice from your agency:
- Submitted practices must belong in at least one of the nine categories: At-Risk Populations, Behavioral Health, Bioterrorism, Chemical Emergencies, Healthcare System Preparedness, Natural Disasters, Outbreaks and Emerging Issues, Pandemic Influenza, and/or Radiation Emergencies.
- Practices must contain useful materials, strategies, or solutions, and not have any obvious flaws that would prevent them from being effective.
- Practices must be transferable or relatively easy to adapt by other agencies or stakeholders. In other words, a practice must have relevance beyond the jurisdiction that created it.

You will be asked to enter a description of the practice, any relevant materials that you wish to be considered as part of the practice, and contact information for someone who can potentially answer questions we may have and give consent to post the practice if it is accepted.
If a practice is accepted for posting on Public Health Practices, CIDRAP collaborates with the individuals and agencies that submitted the practice to ensure that the information is either already publicly available or that the authors consent to making it publicly available. CIDRAP will also request consent before posting a practice and ensure that all information is accurate and up-to-date.
