Medical Coordination and Care Delivery Process (WA)

The concept of operations develops helpful processes to identify fairly specific triage and treatment objectives within a four-tiered medical response model. The concept develops three practices: 1) A process to recruit, educate, and activate community care providers through development of a Medical Reserve Corps; 2) Standardized triage and treatment protocols for pandemic influenza; and 3) Specific trigger, triage, and care criteria for the tiered system. The trigger criteria may require further development before they can be used, and it should be noted that future drafts will feature language and information changes.
